Social Media Lead

Kochi, Kerala, India Marketing - Marketing Permanent (Full Time)

In this role you will work with cross-functional teams including sales, corporate communications, content management, events, practice leadership and more. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing a social marketing strategy that grows Valorem's social voice, supports community and industry events and demonstrates how Valorem's strategic services solve real business issues.
Igniting connections and engagement with industry influencers, current accounts and prospective customers through thought leader content and conversations is the primary goal for the Valorem Social Command Center (SCC). The Social Lead will help shape and implement marketing strategies and programs that elevate our social presence for the Valorem brand and services. Our social conversations will build momentum, brand awareness and engagement.
Ideal candidates should have experience driving social strategies and programs that have created impact on marketing and business goals. You should have a knack for spotting patterns and trends before others do, be obsessed with pinpointing what excites followers, and be captivated by what we can do for them. You are a constant advocate for our customers and community - your ideas are always deeply rooted in what our audience cares about, what they crave, and what delights them. You look at social as a way to deepen that connection.


  • Develop strategies and programs to connect our brand and services to our customers and community and create ongoing conversations.
  • Partner with Content Manager and practice teams to cultivate programs that elevate our social presence and deepen our engagement
  • Start, manage and report strategy experimentation and quickly and consistently modify strategies based on results.
  • Create and manage SCC workflows and processes needed to scale centralized communications
  • Work with the Content Manager to build the social media and influencer strategy across social platforms and communities.
  • Blend the art and science of how each platform talks about technical subject matter and build partnerships with influencers.
  • Develop a partner marketing program with industry influencers
  • Track and quantify social impact across all platforms.
  • Execute ABM social engagement and targeting strategy.
  • Know your audience and be a genuine, credible, and utterly charming ambassador to our social community.
  • Identify key trends and insights in customer needs using qualitative feedback, with a focus on improving the customer experience, and communicate those insights to stakeholders.
  • Placement Criteria & Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of relevant social marketing experience
  • Successful track record of building strong social momentum and brand loyalty
  • Proven history of demonstrating impact of social marketing programs against business goals
  • Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate with creative, social, and technical teams
  • Capacity to manage through ambiguity to create strategic direction and align teams to reach goals independent of manager oversight
