Valorem Reply is seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to engineer solutions that creatively solve problems to deliver business value. Qualified candidates will have a robust background developing modern software applications. The role requires a broad and deep capability to map a client's problem domain to a fully developed end state solution. Our clients’ needs require technically strong consultants who are resourceful, communicate well, and have good problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of modern application development techniques and frameworks and good experience using the Microsoft technology stack for development. As part of our managed services team, you will be a key player in supporting our client’s IT and business goals. We are a team of dedicated, customer centric individuals who are committed to our client’s success. Your role will include application break fixes within established SLAs, proactive support, health assessments, optimization, and system monitoring. 

As a Software Engineer you will be part of a team of talented developers, business analysts, QA analysts and Project Managers building solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 Clients. You will participate in the development life cycle including development, testing, and implementation.


  • Experience (3+ years) with ASP.NET, C# development, specifically diagnosing and debugging. Including: 
  • Classes, Interfaces, Delegates and Events 
  • Generics, anonymous methods, and lambda expressions  
  • Exceptions, transactions, and error handling 
  • .NET Framework and CORE 
  • Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ 
  • SQL Server and relational database concepts
  • SignalR
  • Website development, including HTML4, HTML5, CSS3 
  • JavaScript and single page applications, specifically React
  • Microsoft Azure is preferred, including: 
  • Web apps and functions
  • SQL Azure, BLOB and Table storage 
  • Azure Management, including deployments, configuration, and monitoring
  • Understanding of software design patterns, including SOLID principals such as single responsibility, dependency injection and interface driven design
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including source control, pipelines, and task management 
  • Ability to update and debug Power BI reports
  • Creativity, capacity, and a conviction to innovate and deliver best-in-class solutions  
  • Strong collaboration skills, works well with ambiguity, works well across roles and groups  
  • Ability and willingness to take the initiative to facilitate teamwork and serve the client needs first 
  • Interested in learning new technologies, creative, open-minded and a great team player  
  • Ability to instrument, profile, debug, and optimize server and client code to resolve complex issues with distributed systems  
  • Adept at task switching to handle varying workload, while meeting tight deadlines 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field 
  • Flexible work schedule when needed for client support
