At Valorem Reply we are hiring a Software Development Engineer II. As a Software Engineer you will be part of a team of talented developers, business analysts, QA analysts and Project Managers building solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 Clients. You will work on developing .Net based solutions on Azure and work with a strong team in a fast-paced environment where agile development is embraced and innovation is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from front end user experience, building scalable distributed cloud services, working with data, web API’s and cloud technologies

Collaborate with team members to build full stack web applications and services using the latest web technologies in a dynamic and agile environment

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions using various technologies and platforms

Follow best practices and standards for coding, testing, documentation, and code review

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution

Participate in technical sessions for continuous growth and share knowledge with teams

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

5+ years of professional software engineering experience in web, mobile, or cloud applications

Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, .NET, C#, Python or JavaScript, etc. .NET and C# preferred.

5+ years of experience with modern frameworks and tools such as React, Angular or Node.js.

3+ years of experience with relational and nonrelational databases such as SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.

3+ years of experience with DevOps tools and processes such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes or ADO. Azure Dev Ops ADO preferred.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object oriented design

3+ years of hands-on experience in problem solving ,coding & debugging

3+ years of experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability in Azure.

Ability to quickly understand emerging technologies

Ability to practice agile development methods
