At Valorem Reply we are hiring Senior Power BI Consultants to join our team. In this role you will be working on an innovative project within our Data + AI team for one of our leading clients. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive, eager to learn and contribute and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation of high-value analytics solutions, utilizing Valorem Reply's established methodology and solutions, for both enterprise and mid-market projects

Take responsibility for designing solution architectures to meet project requirements

Ensure that processes are followed by all members of the project team, maintaining consistency and quality in project execution

Provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including answering complex questions, assisting with designing platform architecture, and supporting project planning

Collaborate across various departments within Valorem Reply, including sales, service delivery, and account management, to serve Valorem Reply's customers effectively

Represent Valorem Reply's approach to advanced analytics solutions, demonstrating proficiency at the architecture level and understanding how advanced analytics align with business objectives, enterprise architectures, and the implementation of analytics solutions through people, processes, and technology

Minimum Requirements

5 years spent daily in Power BI Desktop, PBI Service, and Admin Center

Strong skills in analytical programming languages: DAX, T-SQL, PowerQuery/M, etc.

Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data modeling techniques, and the Microsoft Azure technology stack (Synapse, Databricks, and SQL)

Data transformation technologies (Azure Data Factory, PBI Dataflows, etc.)

Ability and willingness to take the initiative to facilitate teamwork and serve the client needs first

Ability to design and implement Advanced Analytics solutions based on customer needs and knowledge of Microsoft and Open Source technologies

Ability to collaborate with other members of the Valorem team, including Project Managers, Software Engineers and Business Analysts

Big Data technologies / Languages:

Master Data Management principles

Data Stewardship, Ownership and Quality Management principles

Microsoft SQL Server technologies:

SQL Server Analysis Services (MDX code development)

SQL Server 2012
