Valorem Reply is seeking a senior level Microsoft Security Consultant to manage a team of Microsoft security consultants in Valorem’s Digital Workplace practice. You will be a key resource in helping our customers implement and adopt Microsoft information security and identity tools. This person must be able to:

It is the Manager of Digital Workplace’s responsibility to ensure that their team drives and delivers enterprise-class solutions using Microsoft 365, including Security, Windows and Office 365 and the entire Microsoft productivity platform within Valorem Reply's enterprise accounts. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, cultivate, manage, accelerate, and close Digital Workplace Microsoft Security opportunities on your own and in conjunction and partnership with Customer Success and delivery area leaders.
  • Deliver (directly or through your team) technical information security and identity solutions for your customer engagements, working closely with the client’s IT to assess, design, build and configure those solutions.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, career development and training plans for direct reports.
  • Maintain the applicable Microsoft security competency designations for the team by meeting the requirements including certifications by direct reports.
  • Work with Valorem Reply’s customers in both pre-sales as well as billable scenarios when necessary to accelerate security opportunities for Digital Workplace.
  • Provide consultative guidance to the team and customers around design principals, best practices, deployment methods and adoption.
  • Generate high quality deliverables as outlined in signed Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Maintain strong working relationships and collaborate with other Valorem team members in Sales, Services, Marketing and Product Management teams.
  • Converse confidently at all levels within a customer, including line of business and IT.
  • Manage large, complex projects, including Microsoft security assessments and implementations.
  • Demonstrate excellent facilitation, presentation, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated understanding of most of the following Microsoft technologies:

  • Conditional Access
  • Self-Service Password Reset
  • Azure Active Directory Identity Protection
  • Azure Active Directory Connect
  • Defender for Office 365, Endpoint, and Identity
  • PowerShell and other automation tools
  • Cloud App Security
  • Information Protection
  • Intune
  • Networking fundamentals, including VPN, security, and WAN concepts

    • Required Experience

  • At least 5+ years of experience in cyber security or related role
  • A deep level of experience or knowledge of Microsoft 365 including key security components.
  • Microsoft AZ-500 certification desired but not required.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM desired but not required.
  • Consulting experience working directly with customers.
  • Ability to pass security clearance required by our customers.
  • Experience with security in Azure cloud environments
  • Knowledge of security-based policies and procedures, industry compliance standards, design and implementation of Firewalls, Network Security Infrastructure, Identity Access Management (IAM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Web Application, Endpoint, Host Based, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms security.
  • Experience with handling security incidents.
  • Experience creating and implementing security policies, audits, reports, and driving these across a project team or organization.
