Cyber Security Practice Lead

Valorem Reply seeks an experienced cybersecurity consultant to join our rapidly expanding delivery organization.  The role will focus on driving forward market leading offerings by providing both internal and external strategy and though leadership.

You will help grow and manage a consultancy team that delivers Cyber Security Professional Services and solutions across a range of areas, including Cloud; Infrastructure; Vulnerability and Threat Intelligence; Identity & Privileged Access Management; Cyber Strategy; Governance & Transformation; IOT; Application Security and Data Security.  The ideal candidate should have recognized industry qualifications or equivalent.

Your role will be to develop and grow security services adoption across a wide range of existing and new mid-market and enterprise customers across all verticals and sectors.  This is a leadership position and you will be responsible for the ongoing identification, measurement and growth of skills and capabilities within your team and throughout Valorem Reply.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, own and support pre-sales and delivery enablement of engagements either centered on or including security components within the solution.
  • Develop and deliver go-to-market solutions specific to cyber security.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft field force in pre-sales and delivery engagements.
  • Develop Valorem Reply POV and overall Security competency strategy.
  • Engage and collaborate with Valorem Reply delivery leadership and cross-functional solution areas to embed security within multiple offerings were appropriate
  • Design and deliver discovery and assessment engagements to analyze customers IT operations, business operations to provide recommendations for remediation and/or improvements 
  • Achieve and maintain a broad understanding of relevant security and privacy impacting policies and procedures as defined by the client that are applicable to Valorem Reply project deliveries
  • Work directly with project delivery teams to ensure they fully understand their specific obligations for security and privacy impact policy compliance
  • Advise to help establish an internal governance framework that can be used to monitor project delivery team compliance status, identify gaps, and pinpoint necessary actions to address those gaps
  • Assist in the develop and maintain a baseline template to be used by project delivery teams for business reporting to the client on security and privacy topics
  • Act as a consulting voice to project delivery teams when incidents and issues occur that introduce potential or actual business risk to the client
  • Support project delivery teams in conversations with the client as necessary regarding security and privacy impacting topics
  • Identify resource requirements through recruitment and training of consultant resources.

    • Basic Qualifications

  • Communication and presentation skills that articulate complex ideas and solutions to stakeholders at all levels
  • Extensive experience in IT consultancy and thought leadership
  • Thorough understanding of cyber security with the ability to architect security solutions including cloud security, cyber response automation, treat intelligence, user analytics, DLP, endpoint security tools, security infrastructure technologies and application / software protections.
  • Expertise with Microsoft security products.
  • Experience leading and advising clients on security solutions which includes risk, governance, technology, regulatory drivers and IT security and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, ITIL standards.
  • Proactive approach in building technical and professional relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Proven experience in creating services cost models with appropriate cost levers
  • Ability to interpret customer’s business and technical requirements into IT services and solutions is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, often chaotic environment with limited supervision.
  • Experience managing project and practice budgets.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a role directly related software development
  • Previous experience working as a Microsoft full-time employee or supplier vendor in a delivery or program management capacity
  • Familiarity with industry recognized DevSecOps frameworks such as OWASP SAMM and DSOMM
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps as a work management system
  • Previous work experience in a consulting environment is a plus
