We are looking for a UX Designer who contributes to user centered design activities for our full-service digital consultancy. This includes creating usable, seamless, accessible, and impactful design solutions based on customer and business needs. The role requires a strong understanding of design principles and best practices, design systems, excellent communication, as well as proficiency of the tools used in modern web and application design.
The ideal candidate should feel comfortable designing at all phases of the product cycle, feel empowered to be proactive while adhering to clients’ design systems, and ensure collaborating to accomplish shared goals in an agile environment. You will communicate and collaborate across disciplines, primarily working with a team based in the United States, to articulate your design solutions across the team.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead and actively contribute to user centered design activities including framing insights and opportunities to ideating, iteratively sketching, and prototyping, creating experiences that bring value to users, clients, and company.

Facilitate design thinking / human centered design ideation sessions with UX and cross functional teams.

Create iterative prototyping – low to high fidelity, based on needs and pace and also have proficiency in inclusive design and accessibility.

Guide and develop scenarios and customer journeys through storyboards, illustrations, videos, etc. to communicate vision throughout iterative design process.

Be a strong and passionate voice for the work as we share and present to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.

Be responsible for delivering UX designs, design specs, final assets and provide design support to the engineering team throughout the development cycle.

Act as a source of product knowledge and creative support for the broader internal organization.

Proficiency in various design tools, mainly Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Minimum Requirements

A bachelor’s degree is required. Design, Product design, Experience Architecture, or Technology related field preferred.

3+ years’ experience as a designer (e.g. UX designer, interaction designer, product designer, visual designer) in a team creating products, services, and experiences that are released to market.

Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to explain user experience and the reasonings behind design concepts to stakeholders and teammates.

Expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Online portfolio demonstrating your design process, UX flows, and interaction and visual design skills.

Preferred qualifications

3+ years’ experience in design thinking, human centered design methods, research, and tools

Demonstrated experience in all aspects of user experience design, from information architecture to micro-interactions.

Ability to analyze and think quickly and adapt to ever-changing environments as is common in consulting.

Hands-on experience of and passion for building mockups and prototypes, from digital to tangible proofs of concept, for consumer and business applications.

Experience of working in highly collaborative design teams, or other multidisciplinary teams.
