Digital Strategist

Kansas City/Seattle/St. Louis/Chicago Customer Success - Digital Strategy Full Time

The Digital Strategist will be responsible for guiding Valorem Reply’s digital strategy clients through their digital transformation. In this role, you will help define digital strategies across four digital transformation pillars (empowering employees, engaging customers, optimizing operations and transforming products). You will work on a dynamic mix of projects ranging from an initial digital maturity assessment, road mapping engagements and ultimately overseeing a series of transformation engagements. You will partner with Valorem Reply's customer success team to begin defining digital strategy through our pre-sales process.

You will work with designers, developers, analysts, project managers and strategic account managers to improve customer experiences across industries including technology, healthcare, aerospace, finance, automotive and entertainment. The Digital Strategist is responsible for end-to-end strategic solutions including identifying, designing, implementing, measuring and analyzing/reporting the performance of data-driven digital strategy. The Digital Strategist will own the strategic relationship with clients across a variety of industries and support peers and other clients within the Valorem Reply portfolio.


  • Ability to act as an advocate and leader in digital transformation, leading the overall digital strategy and execution within our clients. Lead the development of maturity assessments, road maps and strategy documents as part of the overall future state vision.
  • Ability to work closely with our User Experience team to introduce design thinking techniques and the ability to solve complex business problems with simple, industry-leading experience and design solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with our Digital Insights team to include analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence into transformative digital solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with our Security team to include security and compliance as a critical element of digital transformation.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction, working with an engagement team to manage client expectations in line with the overall digital and customer experience vision.
  • Experience translating business requirements and goals, end user needs and inputs from cross-functional teams into differentiated design solutions.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud technologies, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Cloud.
  • Ability to foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. You’ll play an active role in counselling and mentoring consultants within the organization by providing structured and on-the-job feedback.
  • Experience leading or participating in strategy engagements in enterprise accounts.
  • Experience at a large consultancy or respected boutique firm is a plus.
  • Identified experience one or more industries (healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail or professional services)
  • Experience that spans across UX, business, operations, web engineering, design, data architecture and infrastructure. That is, you should feel comfortable talking to other business stakeholders, UX and visual designers as well as technologists and developers.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit who is excited by ambiguity, operates autonomously and is able to make informed decisions on the fly, grounded in a digital transformation point of view.
  • People management experience with both project teams and individual direct reports.
