Bill Feldker - Hello, my name is Bill Felker and I’m a senior manager at Valorem Reply. My Valorem vision for 2025 is using Copilot to help automate business processes using Power Automate.
One of the features of Power Automate is the ability to create workflows using natural language. This means you can use plain English to describe what you want your workflow to do without having to use any code or complex logic. Now that Microsoft has released Copilot for Power Automate, you can not only create a flow initially with common language like you could in the past, but you now have an assistant that will help you make changes to your flow as you are building it. For instance, I can ask Copilot to send me an email for all items in a SharePoint list. When I did that, I realized it would send me an email for each item. Well, I can ask the assistant to compile all those items and then send me one email for all of those items. It will modify the flow to meet my needs without having to write a single line of code or understand the logic behind the request.
The use of Copilot and Power Automate has several benefits. Copilot and Power Automate will allow you to create automations easier and faster, and it’s even made for beginners or non-technical users. It reduces the risk of errors because Copilot is actually building the syntax or the logic for your automation. It allows you to use natural language to create the automation without having to learn any technical terms or syntax.
Valorem Reply has been working with M365 Copilot and helping companies take advantage of how to use it with tools such as Power Automate. Being able to use Copilot will help users start automating business processes today.
